Our processes are considered craft labor. Each vessel is unique and requires commitment and expertise that you can't learn in a short period of time.
Our process has nuisance dust and odors. It can get hot in the summertime and make nuisances even more irritable.
Current starting pay for shop labor is: $18.00 per hour
Work Hours are: 6:00 am until 4:30 pm - Monday - Thursday
There will be overtime at times on Fridays.
Field Premium ranges from: $28.00 to $38.00 depending on experience, with travel per diem.

LAMINATORS & SECONDARY BONDERS
Strand Composites offers employment opportunities in the fiberglass manufacturing industry. Available jobs include shop and field laminators, secondary bonders, shipping associates and more.

Employees will be trained in mixing of resins, cutting, and applying materials in fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) manufacturing.

Laminator’s tasks include operating chopper guns, horizontal and vertical winders, open molding, and applying rolled goods.

Secondary Bonder’s tasks include operating hand tools, understanding ply counts, mixing resins, and applying hand lay-up materials.

Must have the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces and lift up to 50lbs.
